Why on earth did we punt in the 2nd quarter with the ball on Jacksonville's 36? We know Graham has a weak leg, but why not go for it?
You punt there you tell the O that they aren't good enough to convert. You tell your D that they can't hold if you don't covert. Considering our kick coverage under Marciano this season has been poor we've been letting the opponents begin near there anyways. In OT why did the Jags not punt with the ball near midfield? They spent a 3rd round pick on a punter. Why not pin the Texans and make them go farther to win. Why give us the ball at midfield? And how on earth does Martin get run down by a punter? Dude's got to get fined by the rest of the players for that. |

i usually prefer the conservative route, but i have to agree with this one. we were in no man's land - too far to kick, too short to punt. we decided to punt and netted 18 yards. that's just not worth the opportunity to keep your offense on the field.
