Ray Edwards cut - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

NFL.com reporting the Falcons have cut Ray Edwards, their $30 million FA from 2011, who got just 3.5 sacks last season and only started the first 4 games this season, he leaves having earned just the £11 million the contract guaranteed.

Bit of a surprise on the timing, but not so much on the cut itself, the dude has grossly underperformed having done really well across from Jared Allen in Minnesota.

You'd think some team would look to pick this guy up, if you have a double-team demanding end to place him across from then he shouldn't be too pricey and there's the chance that he can recapture previous form with the right people around him.

Which teams are likely landing spots for him?

So was he just lazy, or did he not fit their scheme? I'm not a Falcons fan, and haven't really been following them.

J.Abraham is the only player to record more than 5 sacks since 2009. With the talented players they've brought through their D-line, you have to think a big part of it is a bad scheme and poor coaching.

how many RB's does the saints have they have like 4 Beast RB's there not going to be able to keep all of them

They can't keep them all healthy so effectively they only have two at any one time.
