Last week, Houston became one of two finalists for the 2017 Super Bowl. The competition will be South Florida or San Francisco - the city that loses the vote for Super Bowl L.

I believe we are the only stadium without a digital scoreboard. The technology has been around for longer than the age of our stadium. I hope they can use the entire size of the scoreboard for football-related info, instead of making it look like a backyard clothesline mostly filled with advertisements.

Mr. McNair will always want to generate revenue. He loves this team and wants to build a winner but he's a business man too. It will be a 16:9 and they will probably incorporate digital signage that will allow for revolving ads instead of the static billboards we see currently. (I kind of like them because they remind me of an old baseball stadium.)

Hell yeah! I gotta pay $100 for a new jersey the least they can do is up grade the scoreboard.

So would this new one be larger than the current one? If so, how are they going to fit it under the roof?

according to the doom and gloom on bills forums, taking it they will be forced to upgrade when current scorre board cant fit our points..

You do realize that all NFL merchandise is profit shared equally amongst all 32 NFL teams, don't ya? Buy 100 JJ Watt jerseys, all teams receive equal share of said profits.

This bring up slightly sore spot with the cost of doing business in these scenarios. I would hope that the Texans/HLSR have to put some money into the scoreboard and not just the county or sports authority. Im not sure I agree with the city carrying the majority of the cost of the stadium and all the extras when the value is really in the Team. blah
