It turns out that this Mort Twitter post is the reason for the excitement ...

"@mortreportEA So take Vince Young off the FA market. He's signed 1-year deal with Jaguars."

HOWEVER, right after a few VY fans got excited about this news and started putting in their orders for Jaguars gear ... it was discovered that when you click "Mort's" profile it says "This is a virtual account only seen within the Connected Careers mode of Madden NFL13. To follow the actual Chris Mortensen go to twitter.com/mortreport".

So it turns out that the virtual VY signs with the virtual Jags on Madden 13. However the real VY is still unemployed and the real Jags are not removing their tarps to make room for the VY jock hugger club anytime soon. Yet another disappointment in a long line of recent disappointments for the VY fanboy alliance.

I feel bad for Jaguars fans. Jaguars fans are grasping at any good news that can turn the steaming pile of mess that is their season, and after some of the seasons the Texans have had I know how that feels.
