I have always heard that teams coming off a blowout loss a generally more dangerous the next week than a team coming off an emotional win.
That being said, this should be the "Perfect Storm" for the Texans this weekend. They got humiliated on nation TV and the Ravens won a very emotional game in the sense they should have lost that game, twice... I am not predicting anything, I did that last week and got it handed to me, so I will just say that if there is ever a better time to beat the Ravens, injuries aside, this is the time..

I'm counting on Jacoby to pull an inside job for us.

I dont think this team needs a storm to win. They have all the peices and just need to all show up at the same time. Last week was an anomoly. Feels like people are still expecting failure like we have been conditioned to do for the past few years. We are the favorites for a reason.

What was that reason again?

Humiliating is probably how I would describe the game myself. I'm really surprised that it appears the media is giving the Texans a pass on that game.
It's also kinda odd how we don't have a hundred, "We don't get any respect" threads either.

Whatever it takes for a win is good for me. Storms will do if they can't muster up the talent or coaching. LOL

perfect storm? I've listened all year about how we would have won against Baltimore if Schaub was playing and Jacoby didnt give away those points. Were relatively healthy and shouldn't need a "perfect storm" to win. I would rather them win becuase they are the better team.. super bowl or bust no excuses

You mean again? Maybe he muffed the playoff punt on purpose to help his future team
and is now gonna give away our secrets. But in all seriousness. Our crappy ST coverage better not allow him to run one back or that is all we will hear about on this board. Anytime I see him play I just think of shot at a AFC title game he cost us.

Hopefully the Texans respond with the Ravens like the Packers did against the Texans. I don't think this game will be easy, but I do think the Texans can win it if they don't shoot themselves in the foot. I think both offenses could turn this one into a shoot-out. Each defense is suffering some huge losses to injuries, and offenses will gameplan to take advantage. I won't be surprised to see both teams score more than 30. |

Although I would never say Baltimore has no chance at winning, I will say that with no Suggs, the loss of Webb and Lewis (especially Webb), a not-at-100% Ngata and a front 7 on the D that's as porous as sieve against the run, that the Texans should definitely be favored in this contest at home against the Ravens.
But that's why they play the games. |

Both teams have a lot of stake here. Both have their share of ups and downs, the injuries (the obvious and the not-so-obvious; like how JJo has been disappearing for us due to groin problem; if it continues, it might be worse for us than your team not having Webb.) As a fan of football, I think it's going to be a good match. I'm so ready for the show-down. Bring it on, Ravens! |

Your defense has big injury problems, so if we can get our running game going, we should be able to do well. I am expecting an offensive showdown with each team scoring 25 - 30 points. |

If we had the Arian Foster of 2011, and his line, I would be a lot less concerned. But so far we haven't seen that. So I agree.
