I don't know, someone must still have some faith in the pack. The line opened at Texans -5.5 and it's moved to Texans -3.5.

The line movement is based on the bets. They must have been real heavy on the Texans side so the bookies try and lower the line to get interest in GB so that they will not take such a hit if the Texans cover.

You've got it backwards. If they wanted to get interest in Green Bay they'd spot them more points, not less.

That doesn't make any sense for the line to move that direction if there is heavy betting on the Texans. If that were the case, the line would move the other way to encourage people to bet pack to cover.

You are correct. Im not sure why heavy bets hitting the texans side would narrow the spread. That would be the case for heavy bets hitting the pack. The spread would widden with heavy bets on the favorite and Narrow with heavy bets on the underdog

When did the line start at -5.5? Before the Jets game I assume?? All I seen is -3.5 and -4. And the line never ever or rarely does it move the other way fyi. Vegas has us winning a close game, let's just hope our Texans come out strong and ready.

Yeah, the 5.5 was before the MNF game.

It was changed the next day.
I'm pretty sure they adjusted it mostly due to the injury to Cushing.
