I think Morton will re-sign for a smaller contract. I don't think he will be out on the market long.

Rittenhouse,
Thanks for the correction. The Texans OL was in a state of flux due to the introduction of new starting players on the offensive line, a new zone blocking scheme (for run blocking), and also a few injuries. If we can continue on the same course for a second year in a row, it is my sense that the OL will improve quite noticeably this year. Making substantial changes to the OL this year would lead to another transition year, and the problems and growing pains that go with that. |

The talent on our line has been criticized by almost every other NFL scout. They all thought that our top need going into the draft was the O-line.
So they were all wrong........and David Carr was wrong, when he told the coaches to do something about the line ? Our line just needs to gel..........sorry, but, I'm not buying it. |

Here's a sample of how these guys come to their conclusions:
Hmm, 49 sacks last year and 76 in 2002... Hmm, I don't recognize any of these names, and I've never even heard of this University that Seth Wand went to... "Man, they really need to improve their OL. It's a glaring weakness." |
