June 1st isn't a deadline; it's a beginning. From June 1st until I think November, any player cut has their remaining prorated bonus count 1/2 on this year's cap and 1/2 on 2006. So, other than to accomodate the player being cut, there is no incentive for a team to do so immediately.

John Clayton was ESPN News and he said that Koren Robinson and Bobby Taylor will be cut.

Even though Koren has character issues, he will still be a hot commodity in free agency.

If the Texans want to get an experienced solid #2 WR with youth, athleticism, speed, and height advantage of opposing DB's, then I think they should give Robinson a look.

IMO, a change of scenery should help this guy revive his career.

I think our talent level at WR is set. We have some young FAST talent. Now if we can get a TE or LT then yes I imagine that we will be looking.

The only opinion I look forward to hearing is Casserly's.

I take everyone else's opinion with a grain of salt.

And if Casserly brought in Victor Riley, and Phil Buchanon, then I'll bet he'll take the time out to evaluate Robinson to see if he contribute to the team.

I believe he's already been suspended 4 games for testing positive for drugs. If so, I believe a DUI conviction (once in the program) is the same as a positive test and he could be facing another suspension.

I like Koren Robinson because he is capable of playing great football and being a great wideout for us or any other team out there... but how many DUI's can this guy get.

I like our group everywhere except WR2. At #2, we are one of the worst in the league if we have to use Bradford in that spot. I am hoping for Rod Gardner. Worst case, we wait another year.

I didn't say that. I just said I think we are very weak at WR2. We are also very weak at TE. If I had the choice between making a mjor upgrade at one of the two, I would choose to upgrade TE..

Let the coaches see what they want with the whole wr#2 thing, it's Gaffenys 4'th year, and lots of WR's have break out years in year #4. (not saying all of them do, but lots of them do) Gaffeny is a 4.4 guy, and that's plenty fast enough to be #2, especially with Armstrong giving them enough talent at the slot to give Gaffeny a shot. I know that Gaffeny isn't a speed burner 4.2-4.3 guy, but Johnson is, Drew Bennit has been verry successfull as a #2 and he isn't anywear near as fast as Gaffeny.(of course I know he's about 4 inches taller to compensate)
