If morons want to boo 3rd and forever inside your own 10 draw plays, it just shows lack of football knowledge.
It's the same with 3rd and goal from the 20 after penalties. Just what the **** can you run? Unless it's everyone on go routes, you can forget it. Game isn't on the line. Boo if you want, but like booing Carlos Beltran...it's getting old.

Meh. I guess this is what it's like to have a completely dominating team.
We get the AFC South Blogger making a big deal of it, and we get fans on here arguing about it. Nice problems to have, I'd say. I wasn't happy with the play calling there, and I never am in that situation, because we end up giving the other team the ball with a short field. We take a stop that our defense gave us, and we make our guys go right back onto the field and expect them to do it again or something, I suppose. That sucks for Wade and his guys. To make a stop, and then to have Gary go turtle because he's scared of turning the ball over near our own EZ. I guess the defense needs to just let a few scores go, make Gary have to play catch-up the rest of the game. I bet there wouldn't be the predictable go-turtle formation and play calling if we get pinned deep. Right? Boo'ing is what it is, and people need to quit acting holier-than-thou about it. It's just a noise. BFD.

Eh...there was a time where we weren't showing any signs of moving the ball. The team needed a kick in the ass...that's all.

Just a guess. I'm not going to squabble with individual play calls when we're 4-0 and have been up by 20+ on everyone we've played so far. |

I didn't boo, but I shared their sentiment, the team looked flat & incompetent when those boos came out. Yesterday, it wasn't the whole stadium. It was like it started & the boo birds understood their sentiments weren't as popular as they thought & it stopped pretty quick. We (I was involved) bood the refs at least twice that I can remember. Martin's first down play, where they tried to rob us & the punt where the Titan touched the ball 7 yards ahead of where the refs originally spotted it. My thoughts, if you really don't like the boo birds, go to the game & shut them up.

We expect better (I wasn't booing but I agreed with them). Bottom line. We're not asking anyone to do anything stupid & as safe as the play calling was back into our own end-zone, it still could have been better. We looked like the Jaguars on that series.... no, the Jags would have probably got out of that situation.

Your solution is for me to attend the game and attempt to quiet thousands of booing fans?

Perhaps they were "mooo'ing"? You know, getting into the spirit of bulls on parade and all.
![]() Personally, if there were boo's, I think it was a chump move on those fans. But, that's just my opinion, and they paid their money and have the right to be chump fans all they want. |

I was more aggravated at morons trying to start the wave while we are on offense...again.

yep, and we've been conditioned by it.
It's been a long, long time since this city had a football team that we could EXPECT to win, and that feeling is new to a lot of folks around this town, as well. Early '90's were the last time that I can remember believing that my football team could win every game. |

Hey, 4-0 is great, but we really haven't played anyone yet. Although, I can imagine the 2010 Texans would be 2-2 right now and even the 2011 Texans might be looking at 3-1. I think we drop that game in Denver if it's not THIS year's team and I think the 2010 team drops it to the Titans once they brought it to within 7. I love the focus and general TEAM attitude these guys have. No one complains about touches or how many downs they play, they just get it done. I freaking love this team and what they have built. Houston may not have the flashiest franchises, but they always build franchises you can be proud of.

I didn't notice as much booing in yesterdays game but it does not surprise me in the least that there were Houston fans booing when we were up 14-7 and they didn't approve of not getting points on every single offensive possession. Especially after that team is already 3-0. PK is still a gigantic bag of douche, but it's not out of line to make a comment about people booing their "first time in franchise history 3-0 and now 4-0 team". And yes, I'll be at the Packers game trying to "shut them up" whatever that means. I take it to mean drink as much beer as possible but your definition may be different.

Just make it a drinking game.
For every boo you hear, drink a beer. Then you won't hear much of anything. Problem solved.
