Why did they finish the game? Is Kubiak "trying stuff"
Now I've argued Kubiak should go heavy on the back-up skilled players, Tate, KMart, LeStar... I guess it makes sense with the big uglies too, but damn... that's still Dumerville & Von Miller. Worked out for us, there didn't appear to be a huge drop off, but I was just wondering, Newton & Caldwell didn't get hurt did they?

Ben Jones has been rotating in at guard all season, and Harris has been the extra lineman for heavy formations too, you're overreacting a bit

I was wondering if something didn't happen to Newton.
I think Jones and Caldwell were alternating and it was just Jones' time up.

Jones is a better run blocker than Caldwell ....
Harris is the extra blocker in heavy sets. Not experimenting , playing to his players strengths.

![]() No seriously, I don't think Newton had too bad a day considering it's only his 3rd game starting and he was going against ED and VM. 610 radio said it may have been the altitude getting to him, but that was just a guess. I do think there's a battle between Caldwell and Jones going on, and I wouldn't be surprised if Jones ends up being the starter before the end of the season. |

Ben Jones looked better than Caldwell today, I was fine with it.

I think Kub is trying Ben Jones out early so he can take the job, therefore can let Caldwell go. one less person we have to resign I personally like Jones ask for Harris I think him and Newton will alternate all season unless Newton keeps improving and just solidifies his spot.

A little early to say yes for sure but as long as his back holds up I think so. He is a major upgrade over Butler and Gardner as the back up swing OT and can be a solid starter if Newton doesn't work out. Personally I don't think we will keep Butler to injury prone and when healthy isn't that good any ways so yes on Harris resigning. Ask for Bradie Wade likes him so ya but I'm hoping Sharpton comes back strong and takes the job.

I dont see Sharpton taking Bradie James spot .... No way , no how. If I had to guess right now , I think he is back next season. Sharpton has done nothing in his time here to show me that he can start in the NFL .... Hell , he cant stay on the field. He will be fighting for a roster spot next season , not a starting position.

I think we have pretty good image of 2013 salary cap; will be same as this season. We are running out of guys to rework their deals allowing us to resign our vet FAs.
