exactly Vinny!...on a reverse note.. being everyone seems to be concentrating on Wand being the wink link of the line.. I still would take a look at Shelton (and basically what we are doing now.looking at every player that could improve the club).. and if the price is right.. get him... but next draft (or after june 1st cuts) find a center..

*edit* not sure the contract details of Weigart and McKinny, but Mckinny could go back to being a guard if a replacement center could be found

Yes, we do need a new center, McKinney is a decent run blocking centers, but decent run blockers in the NFL are a dime a dozen. We need a Stepnoskie type in Houston again, doesn't have to be the biggest guy in the world, just fast enough to get to the second level, and have the strength and footwork to pass block. Heck infact if my memorie serves me right, Mark was about the size and speed of a middle linebacker, and went to some probowles.
