Onterrio Smith Kicked out of the League for 2005
-- Onterrio Smith Suspended for One Year! --
Thu May 19, 2005 --from FFMastermind.com WCCO.com reports the National Football league has suspended Minnesota Vikings RB Onterrio Smith for a year. The reason for Smith's suspension was not immediately released. He will miss all of the 2005 football season. The Star Tribune adds Smith has been excused from the team indefinitely because of a league matter, HC Mike Tice said this afternoon. "I really can't speak about any reasons why, or when he'll be back," Tice said after the last of this week's developmental practices at Winter Park. "It's in the league's hands, and we'll leave it at that." |

His third strike was the Whizzinator. He was caught in an airport with the device, and viles of dried urine. Infantrycak made a thread about it awhile back.

I heard the NFL was reviewing to see if his possession of the whizzinator was enough to be considered his third strike. When I learned of the suspension I assumed it was due to the whizzinator. Guess I'd better stop assuming when it comes to Smith. He seems to get into trouble quicker than I can keep up with. :brickwall
