Default Jets hire ex-standout Aaron Glenn as a scout

My favorite ex-Texan Mr. Aaron Glenn is now a Scout for Jets. When Casserly/Capers let him leave to Cowboys was one of the low points for me in Texan History. I not only couldn't understand the move, Dunta was up & coming, he seemed like an excellent leader & coach on the field for secondary. I would have kept him here then worked him into a coaching position. Now that he is a scout, something I could really dig myself, I'm happy for him even though its not the Texans. Best of luck Aaron on your new venture

Texans should have made him a scout here. Dude has always been first class.

He and G. Walker signed a big panoramic photo for my son back when they went to the Pro Bowl.

Cool dudes.

Imma have to ask him Sunday why he's not working for us!

Looks like we're gonna have to find another "alumnus" to make our 4th round draft pick announcements and the like. Who's the next man up for this one?

He was running the Houston Stallions, but they've dropped out of the league now that he's taken the job with the Jets. That blows for all the players that were on the team. They were undefeated too.

CORPUS CHRISTI With four games left in the regular season, the Houston Stallions of the Lone Star Football League have called it quits on this season after the recent resignation of general manager Aaron Glenn and staff. Glenn who played 15 seasons in the NFL, including stints with the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys had the Stallions in first place with a perfect 7-0 record before stepping down to take a job with the New York Jets.

Each team that played the Stallions will have the loss wiped from its record. That pushes the Corpus Christi Hammerheads to 4-3 and puts them just a half-game behind the 5-3 Rio Grande City Magic for first place. Laredo and Abilene are tied at 3-3 with West Texas and Amarillo each being 3-4. The top four teams make the playoffs.

The Hammerheads were supposed to play Houston on June 25. Instead, the Hammerheads will play Amarillo on that date at the American Bank Center. The Hammerheads play at West Texas on Saturday and June 18 and wrap up the regular season at Laredo on July 6.

Players on the Houston team have been released and are free agents.

Man, that just sucks!! I watched the tryouts and had hopes they would have another successful season! They must have had some serious issues.

I took my kids to a Stallions game last year and we had a blast. Prices were cheap, entertainment was fun, and Krazy George was there!

We were planning on going to another game in the coming weeks. That's a bummer.
