Stephen Hill already signed
Stephen Hill agreed to terms on a four-year contract worth just under $5 million.

And now I'm seeing how well The Texans did for getting who they got for the price they are going to get. He just set the minimum for WR taken in the 2nd round.

Bears signed Alshon Jeffery 2 days ago. I know he was in the 2nd round, but yeah they are getting these deals done alot quicker it seems. I guess maybe since the money is lower.

There's really not much to negotiate anymore with the rookie caps in the CBA. So I don't think there'll be anything to keep a rook from signing anymore.
The Texans have always waited a while before beginning contract negotiations in the past. I wonder what they do now when all they really need to do is create the contract and slide it in front of the player

Last year, the only notable holdouts were 1st round picks in the 20-30 range. They wanted the fully guaranteed contracts that the 1-19 guys were getting, but teams only wanted to give them 3 years guaranteed with the 4 somewhat optional. I recall Phil Taylor holding out for a while and one of the LTs. Not sure how it was resolved, but that was about it. Much less than the crap pulled by guys like Crabtree who missed games.
