Please keep in mind that players are rated all over the boards by many analysts and these are where I think players could be or drop to. Some are reaches but are who I think help Texans.
2nd DT/NT Brandon Thompson replaces Cody 2013 3rd DT/DE Derek Wolfe replaces Smith 2013 4a OL Zebrie Sanders has played extensively LT/RT and would be our RG day1 4b Slot WR/PR Ryan Broyles some have in 3rd but I think he just might be here. 5th WR either Greg CHilds or Tommy Streeter both may be gone but CHilds off knee injury and Streeter very raw. Both have size and speed for WR2. **No other WR rated higher offers any more when you figure in round taken vs here. Value++ 6. K Bullock 7. QB Case Keenum UDFA I'd invite: Chad Diehl FB, Jordan White WR, TEs and QBs, Ks & Ps

I could get on board with that. Little late for a WR though...

I agree but we could debate the next 20 WRs and not be much between them when rounds selected in is figured in.

It is all depends on how the 2nd round plays out but I can see us going after NT. in the 2nd round or OL. However, if players like Jeffery, Sanu and Randle is there for us in the 2nd, I also see us drafting one of them.
Rounds by position: 2nd. OL, NT or WR? 3rd. OL, NT or WR? 4th. OL, NT, WR or CB? 4th. OL, NT, WR or CB? A remote possibility ILB maybe later rounds? (Signed FA recently so, a very remote possibility) Go Texans!!! |

I seriously doubt it happens but if our draft fell like this I'd be thrilled, with the exception of 4b, I want someone healthy that can compete right away, not start the year on PUP. Great value in 2, 3, 4a, 5, and good pick in the 6th. |

The NCAA career leader in receptions, Ryan Broyles, worked out Thursday for approximately 45 minutes inside Oklahoma's Everest Training Center in front of scouts representing 12 different NFL franchises. Less than five months after suffering a torn ACL in Oklahoma's Nov. 5 win over Texas A&M, Broyles clocked a time of 4.57 in the 40-yard dash. The two-time All-American also recorded a vertical leap of 32.5 inches while weighing in at 188 pounds, his listed playing weight as a senior at Oklahoma, in his biggest test since his injury. "I feel like today I showed up and showed I've been working hard. I have definitely been timing well. The scouts said the same thing," said Broyles. "They don't expect me to be full speed and I don't expect the same. Being competitive, I wish it was in the 4.3 range. That's not the scenario. It just shows that I am working hard. I am getting my lateral movement back as well." Following the vertical leap and 40-yard dash, Broyles ran a handful of routes for the NFL representatives in attendance. "I wanted to keep going. I have been working for months doing all my routes. So for them to cut it short shows that they have respect for me as a ball catcher. I have been working for it," added Broyles. "I have been working hard these past few months just to show that I am a competitor. I am going to compete. I am going to be ready for camp. I am on my way."

Jared Crick instead of Wolfe. If he can get healthy & stay healthy, lookout. Brandon Brooks over Sanders and he could be even better. I was worried about his weight but recent photos resolved this Keshawn over Broyles whicj is even if you throw in Broyles recovery. nailed Bullock, Keenum (UDFA is better) and WHite. Still not happy with WR2 (Posey)
