Its not that they suck its that they get hurt, I wish he wasn't on the cover because if the eagles suck this year all their crappy fans will be whining about "Its cause the Madden Curse!"

I relish the Madden Curse as much as the next guy, but I do believe Ray Lewis broke it last year for the '05 version of the game. He did not get hurt, and he didn't really suck either.

Not that I would mind McNabb having a bad season :-)

I thought Lewis broke his wrist at the end of the year? If he didn't then Vick getting herpes makes up for Lewis lack of injury. I was hoping for Manning to get it because um he really deserves being on the cover sinde he is so great

Clearly the "Madden Curse" wasn't done with Vick and so Ray Lewis lucked out and got a pass. Either that or the curse was scared of what Ray would do to it if it dared to come down on him.

The curse will be back this season though and McNabb's doomed. He'll break something important and miss most of the season and have to listen to T.O. blame their 4 win season on him.

Well, Ray didn't exactly have a stellar year last season at least by his standards.
