I think they learned their lesson in 2002, taking Carr over Peppers. They say history repeats itself so they went with Williams second time

The top of that 2006 draft class was horrible outside of Mario and Vernon Davis. And Vernon Davis got drafted waaaaaaaaaay too high for a TE.

Matt Schaub on schedule and fully confident he will be capable. We believe in him being ready to go.

Fans don't have the information they (the team) do, so they make decisions based on that. Said if he listened to the fans, he's be in the seats with them, not the owners box.

Difficult because better you play, players become more desirable. Wants to keep core players together

McNair "knows Xs & Os" according to Kalu, and he spends time in the film rooms. A little more involved than I thought.

Look for another late round QB.

Well when Vandermeer noted today was the start of free agency McNair said half jokingly it was probably poor planning to have him on today, so i don't think he ever intended to come on and talk about free agency moves and roster cuts.
