David Carr will be a fixture with this team for years and was an excellent choice as Houston's first-ever draft pick three years ago. With an improving offense around him, he could flourish in '04. Tony Banks is still Tony Banks, but at least he has taken a few NFL snaps before.

I think Toney Banks is a lot better than people give him credit for
If you think back to last season when DC got hurt Banks more than showed his worth when he kept the offense going without missing a beat

Banks is better now than he was about 5 years ago. He doesn't seem to hand the ball over with the same frequency he did in the past. When he was with the Rams they could have referred to him as Tony "The Turnover Machine" Banks. His first pass in overtime against the Patriots, though, reminded me of the Banks of old. Hopefully Symons and/or Ragone can take a step up by 2005.
