I think that is pretty much on the money except Wells would be my 3rd running back until Hollings can prove to play a solid game for us and not get hurt.

You forgot Wiegert, and I'm pretty sure Banks, Miller, and Bruener will make the team, but after this offseason, anything is possible

what about faggins, bradford, miller, and banks? if we were gonna cut tony banks, we would have done that by now. i think he's still the #2 QB. bradford is better than starling and i think he'll make the team this year. next year, we might see bradford, miller, and banks gone, but this year, i still say we're keeping all 5 of these guys. the only one i see on the bubble is miller, just depends how joppru and murphy play. with this all said, i think the competition will be great this year particularly at KR/PR, #4 and/or #5 WR, Backup linebackers, and the 3rd RB spot. i think the third RB spot will be between hollings and morency. wells plays alot of special teams, hasn't had much if any injuries, and has gotten better every year. so i think he's pretty much set at #2 RB until someone beats him out. plus i like the fact that wells is the biggest of the RBs and changes the pace from DD more than a morency or hollings can do.

Faggins is on his roster. He referred to him by his nickname "Petey".

I say that if Joppru is healthy, Murphy hits the practice squad, Miller stays just for his athletisism, and Bruener is still to good of a blocker to let go. Bell also won't make the roster simply because of Simmons, also I think that Lord will probably make it just to get him in some games on special teams, and a few snaps at safety (he did last year, and if he wasn't ready, he wouldn't have). Also Bradford will make it, and Starling will bounce up and down again like he did last year. But has anyone included the extra spots for sending players to NFLE??? Does that add spaces to the 53 man roster or the practice squad?? I know that Miller didn't do much last year, but he's still someone that you have to adjust to cover or he'll hurt you if you try and cover him with a linebacker.

It is my understanding that NFLE exemptions only count to the end of training camp(maybe first two pre-season games). Roster limitations are the same for all teams on the dates that the cuts start. OMO. |
