Not all titans fans are so thrilled we won, a lot think it was a fluke and that we will be nothing next season. I was just over there reading all their "classy" thoughts. They refuse to accept that we will dominate the south for many seasons to come.

Agreed... but they have to say it was a fluke because they were saying all week that we were one and done. Now that we have proven that wrong they just spit out some other crap.

Who's to say that we will Dominate for years to come? I agree things are leaning in that direction, but simply to get them to admit to this seasons reality would be enough for me. We gotta actually go out and do the dominating year in and year out before we can say that.

Congratulations on your guys' first playoff win. I'm hoping this streak doesn't end here. It saddens me that the Raiders couldn't get in, I would have loved to have seen a rematch. But they didn't, and I have no problem rooting for you guys. The Texans have some of the best fans I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I hope you guys go all the way this year.

I post some at titanstailgate.com, and they are very nice folks there. I have nothing against Titan fans, or the team actually (other than they are division rivals). It's their damned owner I hate. I'm over the Oilers leaving town, and have been for quite a while now. But I'm afraid nothing will ever rid me of my hate for Bud Adams.

As for some of you NEWBIES on this board!! The Titan guys who posted here have been posting here for a long time and have always shown class. YES, there's always smack talk, but, they don't hate on us like some of us hate on them. Not their fault that ******** called BUD ADAMS took our team away!! Some of us have met them either in Tenn or here! They are good fans and deserve the respect. JMO!!

I have enjoyed reading many of the posts by Titan fans over the years, and anyone who has the screenname Bipolar the Titan is alright with me.

I was really angry at Bud after pulling up and leaving town although by the time he made good on his threat, IIRC Jacksonville was the first threat and we spent millions trying to spruce up the Astrodome, I was pretty resigned to the fact he was out of here. I was visiting LA when the Oiler fans staged a pep rally downtown, and onlyl a handfull of fans showed up. It was humorous to the sportscasters, and I thought "if they only knew."

After the Oilers moved, I was still angry and wished Bud would be unsuccessful in the move. To add injury to insult our company attended a conference in Nashville, and spent an evening at the Wild Boar. One of the waiters informed us that was the room that Bud celebrated closing the deal. I could only glare at the sword on the wall behind the table.

Finally, I compared Bud to a bad marriage where spouse did everything possible to hold the relationship together, but nothing was enough. Eventually, he left and remaining spouse was out in the cold. Then along come this great guy (McNair), who wanted to rebuild a relationship, and offered a new house with a roof to provide shelter during the balmy September and October days. Recall, Bud's proposal was open air. After reflecting on the difference between the then and now, I've got to say, I am so over Bud Adams to the point of scratching my head and saying Bud, who?

The Oilers were great and so are the memories, but that's the past and the present and future with the new guy is bright.

Gonna just pile on my happiness for you guys on this thread.

I grew up in Houston 1975-1984, and loved the Oilers more than anything else. They broke my heart from Mike Renfro to Montana. Then Bud moved the team, but I was so married to the franchise, that I couldn't emotionally detach, even when the Texans were born.

As someone that has lived and died on the Oilers, Astros, Rockets etc., I know how much that playoff win meant to the city and I couldn't be happier for Houston fans getting a taste of this. It will be easy as hell to root for you to take the whole enchilada. Doubt it'll happen but you never know.

The Ravens will be stiff test - they play damn well at home and their fans are insane loud.
