What are the odds that Kubiak...
starts off the game today with the play-action bomb off the stretch fake that he's twice called at the beginnings of games this year? 95%? 97% 99%

How about they fake the bomb and throw to Arian Foster as he runs into the hole in the zone made by AJ? They haven't done that one in like, forever.

I don't think Kubes is much of a playcaller so I have no freaking idea.
Having said that I give props where it is due. Kubes has shown some great playcalling in the opening drives this year, generally speaking.

This is a move...counter move...counter counter move... etc.
situation. It just depends on what he's planning to do later and whether he establishes that first or sets it up with his first play. Chess and football are always played several moves in advance. |
