Congrats to the two, but we should have more starters/members imo.

Myers and Cushing have legitimate gripes. Both should have been starters, and neither make the team. Soooo many made it on rep, it's embarrassing.

Duane Brown as well. Dude is an absolute monster. I'm sure James Harrison will vouch for that.

Yeah, it's a bit of a snub for Foster, really.

Ray Rice = 1869 yards from scrimage = 131 yards to break 2k in 15 games played.

Maurice Jones-Drew = 1807 yards from scrimage = 193 yards to break 2k in 15 games played.

Arian Foster = 1841 yards from scrimage = 159 yards to break 2k in 13.5 games played.

Ray Rice = 46.4 receiving yards per game = 9.4 average a catch.

Arian Foster = 47.5 receiving yards per game = 11.6 average a catch.

Am I being biased here, or is Arian Foster really the best running back in the game right now?

I knew Pouncey and Mangold were going to be tough to beat. But Cushing definitely got robbed because Lewis made it all based on rep. Cushing beat him out in basically every statistical category.

Duane Brown, Myers, Cushing, and Winston should at least be on the team IMHO.

I disagree about Winston. But Brown, Myers, Cushing should all be on the list. And Foster.

AJ doesn't belong on the list, sorry, he's been injured all year just about. He is pro bowl caliber whenever he takes the field, but it's not fair to suggest he has had that type of year.

The PB is such a joke theste days.

I agree. It's hard to judge lineman, so most of these guys make it based on rep. Thomas, Ferguson, and Long are all top 3 draft picks... so people will automatically think they're good. No one cares to really watch lineman play and judge who is really deserving.

Not only is Brown on the line for the #2 rushing offense in the league... but just looking at pure stats, he's allowed less sacks compared to Thomas, Ferguson, and Long. Not to mention less penalties than Thomas & Long.

I get that Eric has trouble against speed guys but he does not face a lot of them through out the season and he is a very good run blocker JMHO but no doubt about the other three though to each there own I don't care.

My issue with Winston is the number of penalities he draws, and the fact that he is suppose to protect his QB, and I don't think he's done a good job at that. He's to slow, lets to many guys beat him, and our QBs have paid the price.

Until they start making a right side distinction for tackles he is not going to make the pro bowl nor should he. The best of the best should be able to pass protect. He is half a tackle as far as I am concerned like a lot of right side guys. You have to bring more than run blocking to the table.

The only thing still going full speed on Ray Lewis is his mouth. He's not a Pro Bowl LB anymore. This is the classic case of making it one more year than you deserve to go.

All in due time.

If we make a habit of winning in the play-offs, we'll have more & more starters.

The Shutdown Corner Hidden Pro Bowlers
By Doug Farrar, Yahoo Sports

Every Pro Bowl roster has its snubs, but we'd like to present this list more as the guys we think should be on there with the understanding that a ball of excellence at certain positions and the politics of popularity will have things going another way ... at the very least, consider this to be a list of players you should be watching out for in future seasons. The offense is below; we'll have the defense up presently.
...

Tight Ends — Scott Chandler, Buffalo Bills/Brent Celek, Philadelphia Eagles/Joel Dreessen, Houston Texans

...We'll take Dreessen as our red zone tight end, since we're pretty sure Rob Gronkowski is taken — that's what happens when you have six touchdowns in 36 targets. To put that achievement in perspective, Green Bay's Jermichael Finley has seven touchdowns … in 84 targets.

Left Tackle — Duane Brown, Houston Texans/Left Guard —Wade Smith, Houston Texans/Center — Chris Myers, Houston Texans

Since Philly's Jason Peters made the Pro Bowl (and Lord knows he should; he's been by far the best in the game at his position this year), we'll staff our roster of unheraldeds with the first of several Texans linemen. Brown is still getting the hang of the more advanced aspects of pass protection, but he's just mashing fools in the run game.

600 pounds of serious business
...

Safeties — Kam Chancellor, Seattle Seahawks/Reggie Nelson, Cincinnati Bengals/George Wilson, Buffalo Bills/Glover Quin, Houston Texans

I just disagree. How about Wade Smith then?

Ain't that the truth. I think the Ravens were unbeaten during that 4 game stretch he was out of the line-up. There were a lot of guys including Cushing who should have made it instead of Lewis. Lewis has been not just past his prime but over the hill for years.
I felt worst of all for Myers & Brown. Wonder if they could have been hurt by our ZB schemes which features the infamous cut-blocs ? Though of course they are legal, lots of NFL players have problems with that blocking technique and it remains very controversial among many of those players.

Scout.com:
...
AFC Offensive Tackles- Jake Long, Joe Thomas and D'Brickashaw Ferguson

The offensive line is really where the reputation selections begin to occur. All three of these players were drafted in the Top 5, but they certainly weren't the best in the AFC at their positons. Houston's Duane Brown, Oakland's Jared Veldheer and Tennessee's Michael Roos all had superior seasons to the players selected.
...
AFC Guards- Logan Mankins, Brian Waters and Marshal Yanda

Logan Mankins is purely a reputation pick as his season has been subpar. It's difficult to think Maurice Jones-Drew could lead the NFL in rushing without any of his linemen having an elite season. Jags guard Uche Nwaneri has been rock solid as has Houston's guard Wade Smith and Denver's Chris Kuper.
...
AFC Center- Maurkice Pouncey and Nick Mangold

It's very difficult to argue with Pouncey's selection as he has been excellent since his first day as a Steeler. Maurkice's twin brother Mike Pouncey has been very good in Miami, as has Chris Myers in Houston.
