Ok the weakest link on the Team is the WR position absent Andre Johnson and the Free Safety spot as well. I am interested to see who will go after with either the 1st or 2nd round pick to fill the WR slot opposite andre and in the slot since we can't count on Jacoby Jones to be consistant threat. Here are some players that I hope that we target at the end of round 1 or trade back into the early part of round #2 to get a compliment opposite the best wr in the NFL.
1. Tommy Streeter - Miami Jr. - 6'5 215 4.35 - The U has been good to us at several positions we probably can get him at the end of round 1 or move back into the top of the 2nd round for a team looking to move up. He is an early entry candidate who is graduating early so the kid is smart and talented. (My Choice) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjknASkh8lA 2. Michael Floyd Notre Dame 6-3 224 4.50 - 1st Round http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u9htfFUDjo 3. Kendall Wright - Baylor - 5'11 195 4.40 - Late 1st or Early second http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QfBl4usNAE 4. Nick Toon - Wisconsin - 6'3 215 4.45 - Second Round http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sk8wNiTV3E

1. Streeter, has only had one year of playing time, is a junior, and will most likely return to Miami next year. I think he could be had in the 3rd round this year since WR is such a deep position in the draft this year.
2. Floyd, will most likely go before our pick in the 1st round and he's also had some off the field issues. 3. Wright, if he were taller he'd be an early 1st round pick. I think he can be had in the late 2nd round, again it's a very deep WR group this year. 4. Toon, late 2nd maybe even very early 3rd round. |

Streeter is all size, no agility. And a body catcher.
Floyd as I understand is a top 10 pick. Sure, I'd take him though. Wright, can you justify spending a top round pick on a guy who might only be able to play slot or limited snaps because of his size? I like Toon's game. Getting him for a 2nd or 3rd is a steal IMO and compliments the rest of our WRs well. All of our guys are big targets with good hands, except our very own resident body catcher. |

Tommy Streeter and Marcus Forston have signed with agent Drew Rosenhaus and declared for the NFL Draft. They came in together from Miami Northwestern High as part of the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class in 2008 —- and now they will be going out together too.
