This is why I love Mario Williams...
According to his wikipedia page:
"He maintained a 3.68 grade point average and according to reports, he would often be seen studying in the library on Friday and Saturday nights." Even for a guy who was pretty much projected to be a top pick in the draft that entire year, he still managed to sacrifice all his free time to study. I think traits like that really justify drafting a player like that besides having legendary college/NFL Combine stats. While Reggie Bush and Matt Leinhart were out in Hollywood, Williams was in the library. Random, I know. Don't hate. I just love Williams and hopefully he comes back next year stronger than ever! |
