Default T.O., Westbrook, and Simon may boycott Eagles minicamp...

What a bunch of crybabies...

Eagles | Owens May Boycott Minicamp - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 27 Apr 2005 17:04:51 -0700

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he does not plan to make any announcement whether or not his client will attend the team's upcoming minicamp. Owens, as reported, is unhappy with his current contract and the assumption has been that he will not report to camp.

Eagles | Westbrook May Boycott Minicamp - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 27 Apr 2005 17:04:25 -0700

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook will presumably miss the team's upcoming minicamp because he is not under contract at this time. Westbrook is looking for a long-term deal from the Eagles and the two sides remain far apart on coming to terms on one. He was tendered a one-year, $1.43 million deal as a restricted free agent.

Eagles | Simon May Boycott Minicamp - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 27 Apr 2005 17:03:44 -0700

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Philadelphia Eagles DT Corey Simon will presumably miss the team's upcoming minicamp because he is not under contract at this time. He has not yet signed his franchise tender with the team and his agent, Roosevelt Barnes, has noted Simon will not attend minicamp or training camp. While the Eagles tried to trade him, they have indicated they do not plan to release him. Barnes noted he feels Simon could receive the kind of long-term deal he is looking for if he was cut by the team.

That's ridiculous...Do they know how lucky they are to be in the NFL? For every T.O., Westbrook, and Simon, there's about 1000 other guys you'll never hear about. Guys that had dreams and the drive to make it but not the God given talent. And they take it for granted. People like that make me sick. That's kinda why I was a little reluctant on this PB deal. He seems to be one of those types of players, but I'm hoping I'm wrong. He's a great talent, but it would be a shame if he was all about himself like some people who chose to carry Sharpies in their socks.

Look at the Eagles draft. Patterson DT By By Simon. All ready tried to trade him to Balt. Balt. didn't go for the money he wants. Round two. Brown WR. Owens is under contract, will come in sometime or sit the season and is gone after the season. Round three, second pick. Moats RB Westbrook clone. Sign for what is offered and say hello to your replacement. The Eagles pay what the FO wants, take it or go. Staley did the same thing missed some camp and went to Pitts. the next year. Same thing with Bobby Taylor. Off to Sea. The Eagles went to the super bowl without them. They will win with or without these guys. How far into the playoffs they go is unknown, but the Eagles will win.

Westbrook signed a 1 year deal, and I believe he will now attend the minicamp.

I always liked that guy
