Insert formulaic response here:

We must rush out and sign [Albert Haynesworth] who was released by the [New Englands Patriots Historically embarrassing Defense] so that we can be a respectable team.

Are you seriously surprised? He's the D-line version of Jamarcus Russell...........or Jamarcus Russell is the Qb version of him since Haynesworth was in the league before he was; the shoe fits on the left & right foot either way.

Looks like CJ took a page out of the Haynesworth manual.

What a collosal waste of money he was. He singlehandedly hurt the Redskins more than anyone else in recent memory. Titans dodged a major bullet

What happened to coach Belichick? Seems like he is grasping at straws. Defense has been a revolving door. How soon before Ocho is cut. Is Belichick as a player evaluator just overrated?

How much were the Patriots paying him to be on the roster? I'm guessing that might have something to do with it...

Only $1.5 mil this year and as a vested veteran they will still owe him all of that.

This #1 ranked defense doesn't need him.

He showed his talent in that one season - it`s amazing how fast one can change from being a 100 million dollar player to probable being out of the league. All talent, no heart...

I'm sure he'd love to play for Jim Schwartz again.
Suh + Haynesworth + Vandenbosch = Sick ass D-line.
Haynesworth has a helluva lot more of an upside than Jamarcus ever did.

according to ESPN he was having trouble with the 2 gap system NE plays. His strength is a 1 gap system letting him penetrate 1 gap. Not holding up 2 gaps.

Gronkowski could have taught Albert all the erotic pleasures of the gaps.

The Lions or Saints will jump on him.

The rotation of Fairley, Suh, and (a motivated) Haynesworth would be unreal.

Back in July, when the 2011 NFL season still held the possibility of a career rebirth, Haynesworth vowed that the Patriots would be his final team. "If God forbid, I got cut from this team, I know I could go out there and play for another team," he said on Sept. 3. "But, I feel like this is going to be the last place I'm going to play. If it doesn't work out here, I'm not going to play anywhere else."
