Wonder if Foster will catch the same criticism that Vickers did for dropping a pass in his hands? I somehow doubt it. Vicker's should have been a TD and Foster's a long gain for a first.

as much as a long gain for the first is important it happened it the 1st half.

vickers drops a catch for a go ahead lead in the 4th and a more then likely win.

theres a bit of a difference imo

Agreed; Foster's drop was bad, but Vickers' was decisive. The look on Vickers' face after the play says it all.

No way. Vickers cost us a 4th quarter TD. He will hear about that for the next 40 years.

This was just dumb. Why would you even post a thread like this, badboy? I understand you like Vickers but expecting him to get a free pass from the fans the same way one of the best running backs in the league does is ridiculous.

Foster has proven his worth time and time again. Vickers has done nothing and has even been a little bit of a letdown at what he supposedly does well: blocking. He deserved every bit of the bashing he got last week for essentially costing us the game.

Not a dumb poster, but this is a dumb thread.

A play never should have been called for Vickers. That is just stupid coaching.

With the way it should have worked it was a great play call. The FB was open and he just couldn't hang on to it. Kubiak can only do so much and going out and catching the ball out of the backfield is not one of those things.

FInd one post saying I like Vickers. I posted the thread to see if folks thought Arian should catch flak for doing the exact same thing, dropping a pass. Yes, the result would have had different impact; one a TD versus a first down. Sure AJ, Arian and OD will get some leeway because of their known play. SHouldn't Foster catch some criticism? Don't you expect more from your better players?
I agree that Vickers deserved all he got and I was pretty PO myself. But you are saying Arian gets no criticism?

If he wants to risk putting an essential play into the hands of someone that is known to not have good hands, and hadn't caught a ball the whole year, then so be it. I happen to think it is really stupid.

Nobody gets a free pass, Foster had a number of crucial drops and deserves criticism for that but his value to this team is unquestioned. He didn't play up to his standard today and he himself knows it. He'll bounce back and we need him to

He can play in any system and is one of the best backs catching the ball out of the backfield and in open space. So extremely valuable

i've got no problem blasting foster same as vickers. it's a different game without foster's 3 drops, possibly one that we win. just like last week the lost cant be pinned on one player, but those drops were certainly a factor.

I get ur point and I think Foster should get flak...Vickers is not a key player (even though the outcome of his drop was in a more crucial moment). Foster we expect and demand more from him because he is a vital player and a good one. His drops today do not give him a pass...they are both professionals and should bear responsibility
