Surely there is a good possibility that we will pick a QB in round 7.
I predict it will be Ryan Fitzpatrick from Harvard. Who do you think it will be? |

Weren't we supposed to get Kansas City's 7th round for the punter Cheek or was that a conditional pick and they did not get one, so we did not get one?

Chance Mock. They like to pick local kids as a favor in the 7th round. Chance Pearce, B.J. Symons, Sloan Thomas.

A few months ago, a number of draft sites were showing Houston with two 7th round picks. When the NFL actually gave out compensatory picks, the Texans got zero.

If local guys are popular, what about Dustin Long at Sam Houston State (Ex- Aggie)?

I cant believe Browner and Shazor are still up....Ive seen both of them gone before the 3rd round in a lot of mocks...both are great value for now and can be put in as LB's in situation and or safety

Oh well, we took Kenneth Pettway, OLB - Grambling State. I guess we will have to get our annual QB through free agency.

Pettway is from Gilmer in northeast Texas. BTW, I love the thread title.

Nederland,
Thanks. I know that Casserly likes to stockpile QB's for their trade value, or so he has said in the past. I just wanted to have some fun with that.
