Wow...If Tatum Bell gets injured, Clarett could get 1200 yards easily behind that O-Line...

I must admit I was surprised to see him get drafted here but at the same time Denver has a knack for turning out big time numbers with any running back so this would be the ideal place for Clarett to prove himself and put up numbers.

Strange draft for Denver.
3 CBs with their first 3 picks and then they reach on Clarett. I say reach because you could put a corpse in their backfield and he could average 4.3 per carry. So why take Clarett this high (or at all)? |

Good for him. I felt sorry for that guy. I know he made mistakes but i he was also grotesquely taken advantage of by many people. You gotta remember when all this went down he was only 19. I hope he has a good career.

Clarett is still a talented RB and put up an good freshman season so if he can still play after taking so much time off he could become a good NFL back, especially in Denver, although they probably could have gotten him next round.

Clarrett will be a better running back than any running back taking after the 1st round, especially going to Denver. Great pick.

Good for him. I hope he has a productive career with the Broncos (just not at the expense of the Texans).

But in order for Clarett to have success, Tatum Bell must falter. If Bell falters, then they busted the pick last year.

This may not be the popular opinion here, but if Clarett would have fallen to our pick in the fifth round, I would have loved Casserly for pulling the trigger on him. The guy has atleast a second rounder talent. You guys cannot deny that. Only reason him projected going low was his off-field issues and a fifth round pick would certainly have been a great bargain. If it doesn't workout, show him the door. Its only a fifth. However, that won't happen.
