It was only a few weeks ago that the Colts were favored by 1, even with the knowledge that Peyton was not going to be participating in preseason.........which would have already accounted for a lessening of that number to begin with.

We all knew Peyton was getting older and the Texans slowly getting better (well, hopefully anyway). Not saying Peyton has lost anything, but an injury that kept him out of a game against us was not all that unlikely. Couple that with how much that team depends on him (which is astronomical) and, no, I'm not surprised.
Well, maybe just a little, but not much.

Keep in mind, that this line is with the significant possibility that Foster is not in the picture.........just one more good reason not to take any chances.

Seriously, I'm sure this spread will really provide a hich-octane stumulus for the Colts in their season opener. Thankfully it's also our season-opener, so maybe we will have problems but they shouldn't be from over confidence or lack of inspiration. |
