Loved watching this dude in College and don't remember seeing these type of shenanigans back then.

That said, he's becoming an asshat and don't see it changing any time soon

DeMaurice Smith ‏@DeSmithNFLPA
Quote:
I have reached out to Ndamukong Suh. We believe that all players have a basic responsibility to each other.

Quote:
"I have no say in the process (despite) being a part of the situation," Sullivan told USA TODAY Sports. "The league did what they felt was appropriate and the matter is settled."

Sullivan, who had microfracture surgery on the knee in the offseason, was chasing Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy after an interception when Suh — a repeat offender who has been fined at least five other times and was suspended two games in 2011 — dived and hit Sullivan low.

The impact sent Sullivan to the ground, grabbing the knee, but he stayed in the game. He said on Tuesday he feels fine and plans to start this week's road game against the Chicago Bears.

"I'm just happy I wasn't hurt — seriously injured," said Sullivan, a first alternate for the Pro Bowl last year. "There's a reason that play is illegal. It's incredibly dangerous. I just feel fortunate that I'll be playing this week."

I'm wondering when the players decide enough is enough and start low blocking the hell out of this guy. It's too bad the NFC North doesn't play the AFC East this year with all of their dirty ass O-linemen. Three players I hate in the NFL are Suh, Slauson, and Incognito. Well, the Tacks whole organization too but those guys I personally despise.

ESPN Radio has been harping this and most fans seem to be laughing at them.

Dude plays like a D-Lineman should and he is a dirty player. He protects his teammate who is getting dragged around by his facemask and he is a dirty player…

The offense-first mentality that the NFL has been running on for a decade is starting to get old.

Isn't he the SAME muff-hugga who kicked Matt Schaub in the cajones on Thanksgiving last year?

Yes it is. And for what it's worth there are at least a few offensive linemen whom I consider way dirtier than Suh, but nobody talks about offensive linemen in the media because that **** is boring.

Who other than Incognito?

So that makes everything hunky for Suh?

Why is it more boring for OL?

Default Re: The NFL’s New Dirty Player… Ndamukong Suh?

I'm of the opinion that referees are biased SOBs who go into certain games with certain teams with a bias.

a. They will inflict petty penalties for "roughing the passer" against QB's like Brady & Rodgers but will damn near let defensive lines pistol whip Matt Schaub before shooting him.

b. They will selectively call pass interference in cases where a DB was CLEARLY playing the ball, but then in the same game ignore BLADANT pass interference for the opposing team.

c. They give "good" or "poor" spots randomly and strangely enough the good/poor spots always seem to favor one team over the other through the course of the game.

d. They will IGNORE certain defensive players lining up in the neutral zone and in some cases even leaping across before the ball is snapped.

Given my contempt for NFL officiating on any game on ANY given Sunday my attitude on dirty players is this. If a guy on the other side of the ball does something that isn't Kosher you as an opposing player should say something. A friendly warning. If he persist tell him he's on a 2 way street. If he continues you and your boys should either make it your mission to put him in a world of excruciating pain OR have your defense hit his QB so hard that the fans will be clutching their ribs when they leave the stadium. Translation you guys put a hurtin' on my QB we administer an even WORSE one of yours. Call off your dog and we won't untie ours. Like the San Francisco/ Greenbay game. Clay Mathews was taking cheap shot after cheap shot on Cappernik. If I was part of Frisco's Defense I would have told Rogers "When you make it to the sideline...call off your dog." If Mathews persisted I would have done my best to break Rogers' neck.

I think that dip**** coach in Detroit encouraged this behavior and now that its biting his star player in the ass he acts innocent. He learned this honestly from the Tacks organization.

Report: Teammates not sure how to control Suh

Quote:
During Sunday’s pregame show on FOX, Jay Glazer reported that Lions teammates have concerns about defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh’s ability to play within the rules.

“Even in practice, Ndamukong gives guys the business,” Glazer said. “He’ll slam a guy’s head against the ground. He’ll stomp on a guy. He’ll take little shots at guys. And guys are concerned if he can’t control himself even in practice with us, how can he control himself against someone else’s jersey?”..

If it wasn't him performing that hit then he wouldn't be fined. It's his own fault for being a dirty dumba$$ so now he's going to be scrutinized for every hit, deservedly so.

Suh still winning friends...

Dave Birkett @davebirkett
Quote:
If nothing else, Suh succeeded in changing the talk. No longer about him missing OTAs, now about him possibly pulling an Eli.

The Lions clarification is that Suh was thrilled to be drafted by Lions.

Suh continued: "I’m here in Detroit, I’m happy to be here in Detroit."

Told it wasn't his choice, Suh said: "It is my choice. It is for sure, my choice. But like I said, that’s water under the bridge ...

Asked how he could have gone elsewhere, Suh said: "There’s many ways to do things. You can drop down in the draft, you can move up ...

Suh continued: "Had that decision in my hands. I chose not to take it because that's just the way I saw it."

Here's Suh's quote: "Probably a lot of you guys don’t know, I could have gone elsewhere when I was drafted. ...

He was asked that as he walked to locker room, didn't answer >>>>>>>>like pulling an Eli? "im not playing for them!" kind of thing?

Tried to ask for clarification and as he walked off he referred questions to media relations department

Original question was about why he wants to stay in Detroit, basically saying he could have avoided Lions in the first place if he wanted

Asked to clarify, he said there's lots he could have done to drop down but wouldn't specify.

Suh answered most questions today, until he ended his podium session by saying he could have made it so he didn't go to the Lions in draft

The weird thing about Suh is that he's so well spoken off the field. Strange to see a seemingly intelligent and well spoken dude be such a jerk on the field.

Although, the same Ndamukong Suh on the field in the 1970's would not have raised an eyebrow, especially if he was in a Raiders or Steelers uniform.

I have always wondered the same thing. It's weird.

I'd take a chance on him though. Good lord our line would be one of the most dominant in NFL history.
