MNF roof predictions?

What do you think the chances are of the stadium roof being open tomorrow? I know Reliant policy is the 50-80 rule. As per houstontexans.com “We will open the roof when the game time temperature is projected to be between 50 and 80 degrees. Also our parameters for late afternoon and evening games may shift slightly because of the absence of direct sunlight.”

It looked like the weather will be around 92 degrees during kickoff and will only drop during the game. Personally I think we should keep the roof closed during pregame workouts and open it right before kickoff. I love the way Reliant looks from overhead shots in the night and what a better way to showcase the stadium on primetime TV, since this is our only scheduled evening game.

I read in on Chron.com (so take it for what it's worth) that it had been decided that the roof would be closed.

Can't find where I saw it right this second but it was there.

Thanks, I was trying to find something on the Texans site, but my research found nothing. You figure day before the game they would already have that kind of stuff up.

Those are my thoughts too. It may not be direct sunlight like a 12:00PM game, but it will still be hotter than hell in there. I'd bet money that it'll be closed.

They had it up on the Texans site a couple of days ago, it will be closed.

Yeah, Texans need to create some type of game day visual of the stadium showing the roof open/closed for easy reference.

Would be kind of hard considering that they can make the decision as late as 90 minutes prior to kick off..
