The Lions '11 draft class is off to a tough start. First, Fairley breaks his foot and needs surgery (although they say he may be back by the start of the regular season - I'll believe that when I see it), and now this.

As somebody twittered earlier today - the winner of the 2011 NFL lockout is torn achilles tendons.
