I don't think we have an issue with you linking to your personal site or blog. Others do it here like Texans Chick, Houston Diehards, and a few others. However like them you really need to put some content and substance into your posts.
Putting just the title of your blog and then simply linking to it is spammy. Also simply copying and pasting the content of your blog is spammy too. Engage in the conversation here, post something unique here and if you want to add something like, "oh btw, I blogged about this topic here (your website)" that is fine. BTW, IF you are just here to promote your website then this isn't the place to simply do that. We hope that isn't the case. Obviously you are a Texans fan so we welcome you to the board and look forward to your contribution here. Also, we are ok with you putting a link to your site within your signature as long as you are making normal posts like everyone else. |

It would be about time for the berth. Lord knows we've endured the labor pains.

Guys, hate to break it to you, but any time you are trying to garner a "berth" in a sporting event, it is not so that you may come in to being. It is actually meant to be a berth as in a spot or a place in said event, i.e. the Super Bowl. Thanks for trying to be English Majors though. I really appreciate that you are trying in the way that I appreciate the cows in the Chik Fil A commercials are trying.
I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes, "Those who think they know everything, really annoy those of us who do." |
