Is Simmons still available? I can't find any information on him. If so, man I would love for us to sign him and start him alongside Greenwood, instead of Wong. Simmons does everything well- except avoiding injury. Still, he's worth the risk, I think.

No we are building our team via the draft. He would be a waste of cap space

He's still a FA as far as I know...He's 28 and has decent-to-good numbers, but he hasn't played in more than 13 games in a season since the Texans have been in existence...I would assume that if we had any interest in him, he would've at least come in for a meeting by now...For now, I say no, but if we don't add any LBs in the draft, I may warm up to the idea...

Has stud potential, one of the fastest LB's in the league. If you had a Zach Thomas type of heart in the body of Simmons he would be the best LB in the entire league. This guy is stacked in terms of physical gifts and tools. Seriously, he is ungodly fast. Injured WAY too much, and supposedly doesn't play through injuries. Also wants way more money than he is worth. There were quotes from former teammates that he was the biggest locker room cancer ever. I think that came from John Randle and Chad Eaton, who were both stand up guys. I like the guy, but after reading all the stories about his tirades, getting into a physical confrontation with one of the coaching staff was just one small part of this, I'm not so sorry to see him go.

Simmons has a lot of injury problems, I don't thing he has played a full season in like four years.
