What do you think the Texans will end up doing? DD will be a RFA and they will either (A) resign him to the one year tender or (B) someone will offer him a long term deal. This class has good depth in the RB pos but the Texans traded away there 2nd and 3rd picks for PB (Which was a steal for the Texans by the way) Next year Reggie Bush of USC will be heading to the NFL probably would be a great fit for them. Very fast and can run very well (Clinton Portis type runner) and can catch the ball very well out of the back field (Warrick Dunn / Marshall Faulk most def not saying he will be anywhere as great as Faulk was). Bush would be a top pick in any draft BUT when you look at the market for running back this year and the big draft class coming in he might last till the late first round depending one where the Texans finish this year they might have a shot at a player of this caliber. What are you thoughts on this and who would you rather have? Bush or DD or someone else?

I think DD is a good back. Maybe not a 1500 yard gainer, but quite possibly a 1200/yr back. I think the Texans will put a 1st round tender on him as a RFA, or sign him to a deal before he hits the market. However, if Benson is there at 13 this year, you have to take him. He is a back that can carry an offense. If we don't get Benson this year and Bush falls to us, you probably have to look at him for the same reasons.
DD can be just as effective as a change of pace back. |

That's adrian mcpherson, who is in the draft this year, Adrian Peterson is the freshman running back for the Sooners who should have won the hesiman trophy, but he'll win it before all is said and done. I think he'll come out after his junior year, which would be the 07 draft. Well, that's all for now.

Algebrat this is davis rushi9ng yards 2004 2004 Houston Texans 15 15 302 1188 ......pretty close to 1200 to me. so yea i agree with u too hes a good back and already os pretty much a 1200 yard back....and 1500 is a long stretch i'd say hes a 1300 yard back in a cuple years.

For all the people that doubt DD his numbers are pretty even with Ahman Green but with more recieving yards and less fumbles.
