Is this the year that Bob goes after a big name free agent or makes that spectacular trade? Many of us say "maybe" but I'm thinking the scent has left the rose and he need to do a "biggie". Another 8-8 or less record will have the fan base going nuts. If he has to fire Gary, it makes McNair look really stupid imo. I just don't see Phillips taking over if Kubes is let go and our owner would have to really pay out big for a coach.

If there is no CBA but league operates with no salary cap would this encourage McNair to spend for someone like Asomugha? More so than ever before, maybe this will be the "perfect storm" with enough factors coming together to make that huge risk taking effort to make it to Superbowl. I like this draft but it is not enough to get us much deeper this year.

Hoping that Mario is a factor @OLB, NT? we don't need no stinking NT, let's sign a aging CB and maybe a second level safet and we will be right in the mix is not oing to get us anywhere.
