Where is Vinny? - Houston Texans Message Board & Forum

Does anybody here have any contact with him? I hope he is okay and he's doing well. So if anybody does talk to him, is everything okay?

I'd like to know too. I know he wasn't in the best health but I'd love to know how he's doing.

There have been a few threads about Vinny over the past 1-2 years, and Ive been following them as best I could. Heres the information I could garner:

1. At some point in the past, Vinny decided to take an internet "walkabout" in which he quit messageboards and focused on offline life. Original intention was for it to take as long as it needed and then he would return. I think the moderation game was taking a negative toll on him, among other reasons I believe. At least thats the impression I got.

2. He never returned from said walkabout, and other moderators with personal contact information have been extremely vague about his current whereabouts. However, they insist he is ok.

Based on #2, I imagine that Vinny liked the way that #1 improved things for him. And so I wouldn't expect to ever see him back. Meaning, we'll just have to take the vague words from mod friends that everythings the way he wants it.

My personal consipracy is that he left and eventually did come back, albeit it with a different moniker and a non-red name, so that he can continue to post but without all the crap given to mods. I have my suspicions on who he might be, but who knows

I heard the big man found a fantastic lady and has been spending most of his time with her. Whatever he's doing I wish him nothing but the best. I miss the guy.
