I know we're about to be flooded with more of those "woulda, shoulda, coulda" threads again after the draft so come join me here on the ark. Be sure and bring plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment.

I'm going to say we're going to get at least 2 "Should've taken Matt Jones in the first" threads, and , going out on a limb here, at least 1 "What was Casserley thinking taking a QB late" thread.

I'm just warning that I'll post a "Bucs Should've taken BMW" thread if they don't.

On draft day, we should just make one "Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda" thread and just merge all the other extraneous threads with that one...

Looks like D-Rek and I think alike when it comes to "woulda, coulda, shoulda" threads. To answer your earlier question, I'm going to quote high and say 4.

The knee-jerks will be out for sure. Personally, I like to wait to see the guys fail/succeed on the field before I complain about a draft. Every year the fans look foolish on some level. The Bears fans were mad that they didn't target Burress and were disappointed when they took Urlacher (he was picked right after Burress btw), the Eagles fans were upset when they took McNabb, the Saints fans were upset when they took Deuce McAllister, and the Colt fans were mad when they took Edge over Ricky Williams....I could go on and on about immediate knee-jerk fans...but I'll save it.
Also, we just see too many young guys dominate players who were outstanding High School players but would never sniff the NFL and the amateur net-draftniks think that this translates to dominating in the NFL. I need to see the drafted players matchup with the superior NFL talent before I start to moan about a draft. I’m probably going to add an archive forum for easy search access after the draft. The reaction threads may be amusing later...or just sad.

Very good point about the knee-jerkers, Vinny. I was that way with David Carr once and look at me now. So I have to agree that the fans need to quit booing whomever we pick because CC is like a chessmaster who is thinking many moves ahead.
Ok we got a great topic for discussion... how 'bout some good football foods to go with it? |

Well we woulda, shoulda, coulda got DJ but didn't. Same goes with all the other first rounders. All you cry babies just need to put a sock in it and see how much better the DL is going to look. Be happy we got Mathis. We got our depth at the center position FINALLY. Let's see how much better Stevie plays now. Kudos to drafting Morency. He won't be an imediate starter but he'll get some running time if DD gets hurt. The sixth and seventh are depth at best. I can't wait until Week 1 because I'm ready for some football!!!! :woot

No tickets necessary. Just hop abord whenever you can. Just be sure to leave the burnt orange or whoever else outta here.
