Texans the most exciting team in the league

I remember thinking after every loss this season that OK, we had FINALLY found every possible way to lose a game in extravagant fashion. Until the next week came of course. Nothing like recognition for being the most exciting loser team in the NFL!!

The Texans opened the season by upsetting the Indianapolis Colts and seemed poised to make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. They gave fans a wild ride, but instead, they melted down in scintillating fashion. Houston played in four of the top-10 most exciting games of the season, including a Week 10 loss to Jacksonville on a Hail Mary pass on the last play of the game. A week later, they lost to the New York Jets on a last-second touchdown pass by Mark Sanchez to Santonio Holmes.

If these outcomes truly generate feelings of excitement on the part of Texans fan, I expect that next year we should see a regular new addition to the tradition of tailgating on Kirby so that fans can "prolong" game excitement.

I think by "exciting" the author might mean unexpected or last-second outcomes to games.
