Actually our average 1st round pick is 14.4 not 12.6

2006 #1 pick was a result of Capers coaching, not Kubiak.

Kubiak's 5 seasons as HC have given us:
2007 - #8 (#10 was a result of the Matt Schaub trade)
2008 - #18 (#26 was a result of the Baltimore trade)
2009 - #15
2010 - #20
2011 - #11

But I think that's just trying to determine which turd smells better.

Plus his winning percentage is better than Chan Gailey, Jim Schwartz, Steve Spagnolo, Todd Haley, and since they are all currently .000, every first-time HC that's been hired since the end of the regular season.

It's a great graphic and the guy's stating facts.

I don't see what's wrong with it unless you don't like his facts.

Dallas--18-14 with 2 playoff appearances

Are you talking about this one?

I got 12.9 for the history of the franchise. He's off by .3 according to my math. It doesn't say "Draft picks under Kubiak."

It doesn't invalidate the graphic just because one hair didn't get split in 2 equal halves.

1. I actually like the graphic, I'm not downplaying it. I think the guy brought up some staggering graphics and I think he did a great job.

2. This is "Kubiak by the Numbers" so that's implying all figures are during the Kubiak-era and not for the life of the franchise.

3. There are plenty of different ways to calculate figures and that's why stats, rankings, percentages, etc can be very misleading even though all could be true and factual.

2006 - #1 Pick
2007 - #8 Pick
2008 - #18 Pick
2009 - #15 Pick
2010 - #20 Pick
2011 - #11 Pick

The above starting draft slot is what Kubiak had, that is, what selection we had after the prior season. That's actually 12.167.
2007 we moved down to #10 as a part of the Schaub trade.
2008 we moved down to #26 as part of the Baltimore Flacco/Brown trade.

Again I like the graphic but I often like to check people's work for accuracy and not take anything for granted.
