Why trade Smith who is a good fit in the 3-4?

I want to trade smith, for his boneheaded plays he makes at the wrong time. he also sounds like he isn't happy with the switch to the 3-4.

He was also our best lineman on the other 99% of plays he didn't do something boneheaded.

Kubiak will never go for that list until it includes at least 4 TEs.
