The Patriots have clinched a #1 seed, it's 24-0 and they are in the third quarter. Brady's still in there, and throwing a lot of passes.

I don't wish injury on anyone, not even the Golden Boy, but one of these days Belichick is going to look really stupid when a key player goes down and out for the playoffs in the second half of a meaningless game on Week 17.

Agreed. He should rest him. But it also may have something to do with them playing the Dolphins. Belichick really hates Sparano and is probably running up the score in order to increase the chances of Sparano getting fired.

don't worry, if he gets injured by a hit, then there will be a new rule outlawing whatever type of hit that knocked him out.

Part of this seems like the usual Belichick ruthlessness and going for the throat (I wish the Texans had that killer instinct to a degree).

But for the most part I think the Dolphins quit on the season before opening kickoff.
