Just got to my in-law's from the game. The wife patted Jacoby on the back. Got love from Leach for a Pro Bowl sign. Met Arian's sibling's, nice folks.
That said, all the folks who want Kubiak gone, the Denver fan base REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wants him. Seriously - people were asking me all day long. So, if we want him gone, he likely has a place to go. |

I'm not surprised. McDaniels was a real failure. I'd want someone comfortable with the city and the fans as well.

Another thing: they want their offense that they know and love back

I was thinking about this earlier and wondered what you guys think. Some might not care but its a passing curiosity. If Kubiak goes to Denver, you think Tebow stays there, maybe becomes starter, or does he get cut eventually?
Not a Tebow fan, but I don't dislike the guy. Just wondering is all. |

The guy sitting next to me at the game today wanted Kubiak. If Kubiak comes, I will not buy Broncos tickets again next year.

Did you have a good time? Did the Bronco fans treat you right? What was your impression of the team? Has Kubiak lost them? Btw, saw you on tv representing. Way to go!

Let's not get crazy, no matter how bad we want his ass gone we aren't tossing around a top 10 pick to get rid of him. I don't want the top 10 pick in his hands though.

Kubiak would be a great discounted belated Xmas gift. Rick Smith would be a great complimentary gift.

Denver has an opportunity to learn from our mistakes. I don't know if Elway will be Jordan of GMs, but he knows that if he brings in Kubiak, job 1 would be to pair him with an established DC to handle that side of the ball. Don't let Kubiak overrule draft picks and teach him the finer arts of preserving timeouts.
In Houston, none of those problems were addressed since he was new to HC and chalked up mistakes and stunted development to growing pains, bad luck and a tough schedule. After 5 seasons we know better, but so does anyone else watching this team. |

Don't fire him. See if Denver will give something up for him.
I'd take a couple of 6th round picks. |

My dad moved off to Denver and ended up a Broncos fan after the Oilers split town and Shanahan took over.
He said the general mentality of the fans there is that they want Kubiak. I told him that he'd be over there already if it were up to the fans. We can't get him out of here quick enough. For my old man's sake, I hope that they can get Kubiak and he makes them a winner. It's obvious that it won't happen here. I think it's possible if he doesn't get too much control at his next stop. I'm pretty sure Pat Bowlen's learned his lesson from letting one guy call all the shots.

My buddy the Bronco fan that's with me for every Texan game knows better. He's seen what this team is like and has no interest in Kubiak whatsoever. That being said, he also knows "Bronco fan" and believes they want the "hometown" boy to come back. He also said the Elway is now a "front office guy" of some sort (might just be new news to him), which could also be good news for Kubiak if that's where he wants to end up.
