It's time.

Closer and closer and closer they inched. And we ate it up. Because we remembered what it was like not having a team. Good enough was good enough. Almost was good for reasons like "looking to the future" and the progression, however slow, was still progression. We had shed our inept regime, inept QB and expansion mentality. We had a real coach, a real QB, a real offense, a HOF candidate WR, probowlers, DROYs and while they came up short when it really, really counted it was all still moving forward, the Texans brand had never been so shiny.

Then, full of hope and expectation, you treated the Colts like they had done us so many times. Then you went and made good in the first of many last second, heart pounding, emotional endings. It was all going to plan. Playoffs were practically in the bag. A division with it's mainstay faltering, a 2 game jump and momentum finally, finally on our side. The brand was practically a second sun, burning a hole in all of us.

What happened?

Epic collapse. If it could've gone wrong, it did. Key injuries. Off and on execution. Amazing comebacks topped with rotten, losing, black, disgusting cherries on top. Another mid season flop fest. All the old weaknesses came through and put all of us back in our place. Then when we had a chance to re-gather, re-focus, see exactly what needed to be done and what happened? Defeat. Epic defeat. Again and again we rise only to find out we were just short. A few dropped passes. A fumble. A pick. And it all added up to what?

Last place in the division. No playoffs. Fanbase SCREAMING for change, new DC, new players, new head ball coach. HOF coaches rumored to be interested in coaching here. So what did we get for our hope, our

, our dedication to the team, our defeat?

Bob McNair telling us that the other owners think he's doing the right things.

There is a lot we owe to you Mr. McNair and while I will be the first to rail on the coach, the team, the front office I have always tried to hold you above them out of respect for what you did to bring us a team.

This is your pile. And while the other owners may be telling you attaboy, I for one (and there are probably "a few" other people that will cosign on this article) need to tell you this: I'm sick of watching your team. I'm sick of them being called Texans. I'm sick of trying to find silver linings on 500 ton shipments of bull****. Most of all Mr. McNair, I am sick to my friggin stomach of watching the same shipment come in on the same boat headed by the same ship captain and the same crew when the only thing changing is the week and the venue.

I am still a fan, for now. However, I did not watch the Titans/Texans game and likely will not be watching the last 2 games. I do not know if my season tickets will be renewed, as of now I'm heavily leaning towards not. My involvement on a beloved forum will be reduced and it's all because I have enough stress in my life to cover myself without having my one escape from reality be a constant depressant.

To my forum buddies, I bid you a good day, a good holiday season, a merry christmas and a happy new year. You've all been more a part of my life than you probably realize and I thank all of you who have taken the time to read my posts and for all of your postings. I'll be back next year but ya'll aren't going to hear from me for a while.

Thanks friends. I'll be around but discussing the ins and outs of every last play....no more. I'll be like that again when Kubiak is a) fired or b) in the playoffs. Not a moment sooner. It's like watching an alcoholic. You just want them to stop killing themselves and all paying them more attention does is kill you. I've lived and died with the team, mostly died and now? I'm dead, dead tired of it. This is like watching Lance Berkman swing righty.

I just want to throw out there that John McClain's fat ****ing ass needs to be shown the door as well. How he got into this position I have no clue but it's time to move on from him too. He's trying so hard to protect Gary now that everyone wants Cowher and his reason for Cowher not coming here is that "OH Everybody is writing this but Cowher never says it." Of course he never says it himself. That's what REAL sports journalists are for. You know. Like ones that could write an article in Pittsburgh and have it read all the way down to Texas. It is a KNOWN commodity at this point that Bill Cowher WILL coach here. What would it take?
