Was this the defense's best game of the season? Factoring in who they were up against. I know we shutout the Titans, but that had alot to do with Rusty at QB.
It's hard to say the defense played well when the other team scores 34... but 13 of those points weren't their fault. And in the first half, the offense wasn't helping them out by giving the Ravens awesome field position just about on every series. They shut down their run game, the secondary made big plays when needed, Flacco was pressured all night... most importantly, they forced them to punt at the most crucial of times. |

Loved the blitzes...and if you wanna get technical...defense gave up 21...(7 on kickoff return and 6 to end it)...pressure is the way to go...if you're gonna get beat anyway, might as well take a chance...play to the strengths of Cush and Pollard....ahhh................................... ....................................

yup def the game where the D made the most plays. had the usual bad plays but guys like pollard, glover and quin made up for their mistakes with good plays. just a solid outing all round

Easily Cush & Pollard's best games of the season... mainly because they sent Pollard blitzing just about every play instead of back in coverage. Glover was close to his best game, but hard to beat 3 INTs.

Wtf? We allow 21 points in the first half and it is the best game of the season? We would have allowed more if Baltimore kept going to the air in the second half.
If that was the best defensive game of the season, we must be the worst defense of all time

We just held a stoppable offense to......wait for it.........34. Oddly I think it was the best game for the D this year. FIRE ALL COACHES!!!!! All that talent and we're happy about 34, 28 in regulation.

With another non-winning season at hand I see people are out to pump some sunshine any way they know how. Keep it up, boys!

Not saying the defense played great, but that may have been their best game of the season. |

You are correct, thanks, I stand corrected. I still feel empty when I think that this defense is Schaubs worst enemy.

You know whats sad? It was the best defense we played all year, and we gave up 34 points in total. Also special teams = terrible. I honestly believe if we dont give up that KR TD we win. Defense did pitch a shut out in the second half.

Not the best defensive game of the season, but might have been the most "energetic" , if that makes sense. And I'm PRETTY sure Cushing's best game came against the Jets.

Has Mario hurt us this season? Don't get me wrong Mario is our best DLinemen, but when he went out our defense got consistent pressure on flacco. Maybe its caused we blitzed a ton, but a healthy mark anderson might have been a better option then a 60% Mario.

Don't look now but this is the worst pass defense in the history of the NFL.

I've been asking for Bush to get more aggressive with his blitz packages for a while.
It's a shame that it took him so long. |

On the first scoring drive we didn't force one 3rd down. On the next two scoring drives they threw TD passes on 3rd and 6 and 3rd and 16. You can't consistently let teams get out of 3rd and long holes and expect to win. |

It's hard to say, cause the not so special teams were awful. We never started past the 30, I don't think.
