due to lack of feedback made personel decisions after careful consideration projecting NFL caliber prospects forward. Added QB, FS, Center & 3-4 DE. several late 1st. OT prospects downgraded some stock for position, very deep DE class too.

I know, however I like Gabbert more than Locker, that's just my opinion. Better decision making, equally well put together core strength & better accuracy. Wisniewski is not a sexy pick but is so safe & lock to have a long productive NFL career a team like Indy looking for Center replacement would jump @ the chance to shore up their interior OL.

FYI as of now New England has the #14th (via Oakland) & as SuperBowl favorites #32nd picks. if you take em straight off our draft board it translates to Ryan Mallett for Bellichick/Brady to groom while picking up Watts to start his long career as a 3-4 DE. this is how you perpetuate a dynasty, if they can hold it together?

Chad Reuter in his most recent mock has Wisinewski going to Baltimore #28. Gabbert will follow if he declares?

Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA is only safety getting a first rd. grade & that is borderline. HE is a true centerfielder type with good range & playmaking ability. If your thinking Texans maybe in the 2nd/3rd. they go after another Alabama secondary prospect SS Mark Barron (suffered some kind of pectoral injury end of season).

My personel favorite is Temple Owl Jaiquawn Jarrett. He is the closest thing to our favorite safety prospect (after Earl Thomas) Nate Allen last year who was drafted & played well this year (before getting injured) for Philadelphia taken #37 overall. more info on JJ http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...drafts-top-100

Ok thanks, i dont really like the idea of converting a cb to saftey because its better for them to play the position they are most comfortable at. Hopefully we draft a couple of Saftey's in round2-3 or pick one up during free agency.

it happens all the time, not a deal breaker. the important thing is to have your best players in position to succeed. McManis would make an excellent FS someday & Quinn is tough enough he could play SS. The problem with that of course is just what you said & how do they gain needed PT without hurting the team? In that sense it is best to draft them straight from College with expereince already in hand.

What about McManis and Brandon Harris as your CBs and Quin/ Jackson as your safeties with Nolan in reserve?

I only comment on players I have seen play in person which limits me to pretty much Nebraska and teams who played Nebraska but I saw Gabbert in person and the guy has very happy feet.

Do not want him facing NFL caliber defenses.

But if you guys have time, please dig up some more infos about the guys we've already have on the roster. (I don't have as much time this year)


For example:
- Quintin Demps. Does his past injury prevent him from being back to 100%?
I like what I saw of his limited actions with the Eagles.
- Jason Allen's stint as a safety with the Dolphins.
Why does some coaching staffs play him at CB and other play him at safety?
Was he any good at safety?
- What is it that you think Nolan couldn't quite cut it?
- Any hope for Tori Williams and the other guys (either at CB or safety?)
