If its a DE/DT my choice here would be California Bear Cameron Jordan, 6-4 285. his linemate Tyson Alualu surprised everyone going #10 overall to Jacksonville. Been pretty solid for a rookie moving inside. Second choice would be Iowa DE/DT Adrian Clayborn, 6-3 286.

if the consensus is Mallet so be it but I would rate Newton & Locker higher.

I don't think there is any way Mallett goes this high. And I don't think he will go before Newton. If Locker has a big game against Nebraska this time around, he will probably go before Mallett as well.

Well I guess flip a coin. Or we can meet in the middle and choose Locker. Lets move on to 10.

flipped a coin & its Locker. If he had come out last year Jake could have been a top 5 pick so I can live with it. I know there are some who would love to see him fall to their favorite team, but someone is going to need a QB & take him early, has all the measureables.
1. Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford - 6'4 - 235 2. Patrick Peterson, DB, LSU - 6'1 - 222 3. A.J. Green, WR, Georgia - 6'4 - 212 4. Prince Amukamara, DB, Nebraska - 6'1 - 205 5. Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson - 6'4 - 280 6. Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn - 6'5 - 298 7. Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama - 6'3 - 306 8. Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina - 6'5 - 268 9. Jake Locker, QB, Washington - 6'3 - 230 on to #10 how about Cal DE Cameron Jordan, 6-4 285?

I'm good with Locker at #9, he has the physical tools that make GMs salvaite so that's fine. I personally like Clayborn or Bailey at #10, don't no much about Jordan however. I expect the next few slots to go to defensive players because theres not much offensive talent this year (there is but not anything impressive IMO). |

Dont know much about Jordan. But if I had to pick a DE Clayborn would be my pick. He's not flashy but will be a 10 yr starter. Particullarly if he goes to a 3/4 team. Last edited by steelbtexan; 12-14-2010 at 04:23 PM. |

Seeing as how this could take a really long time let me throw out an idea. What if we were to get everyone who wanted to participate to give us the rest of their top 32. We can take the average of where they are slotted and put them on the big board. Any ties would be debated.
Or we can keep doing it this way.

Sounds like a great idea to me.
But I like the back and forth debate also. This MB has great mock drafters and I like there thoughts on players that I might have a different idea than. Or a guy like Cam Jordan who I know very little about. But will study up on him bfore the combine. Any info on Jordan would be helpful. |

Mark Ingram will be coming into the debat soon, he is the highest RB in the draft.
At 10 I have Clayborn or Paea |

what would you think of an Ingram/Foster backfield? think the Texans would run the ball more?
