The next 3 games - key to the season and the future.

Well, we are undoubtedly heading in the wrong direction; however, the next three games are not only the key to this season but perhaps to Coach Kubiak's future. If we don't win 2 out of 3, we are done and headed to a likely 7-9 or worse record.

I think it will come down to the Titans game as we are likely to pull off the W against the Jags and the Jets should throttle us. Here is what I am thinking right now. What say you?

Perhaps they are to many, but coming out of this stretch with already 3 Divisional losses would pretty much kill our season. The Jets game is already chalked down as a probable loss...

That Jets defense doesn't look as good as it did last season. I wouldn't exactly write us off in that game.

I just wish you could convince the players. The ho hum responses they give about important games just kills me.

Key to the season? There is no key to the season anymore, dude. Unless we find out how to **** skittles, the season is over, we aren't going to the playoffs. Giving yourself another 3 games to hope for some miraculous turnaround is unrealistic and setting yourself up for massive disappointment.

Exactly. We have 8 games left 4 within our division and the weaknesses are apparent.
All of our division opponents are beatable.

By the numbers, we absolutely still have a shot. One game back with the bulk of our division schedule to play. As for these three, IMO we need a sweep, though dropping the Jets game won't be fatal if Indy loses at New England or to the Chargers. We CANNOT drop one to the Jags or the home game to the Titans and expect to have a decent shot at the division (forget wild card at this point).

If he wants to save his job, Kubiak better flip that end-of-season switch right now. It would be helpful if Schaub got his act together as well. For all the other faults, if the passing attack reverts to 2009 form, the combination with the ground game would be pretty tough for any team to stop, and we might ride to the post season on a wave of victorious shootouts.

and you see, out of everything that has happened this season, this is what gets me the most. Our offense. WTF? Sure AJ is not well, but there are other recievers on this team. Our offense should be a damn killer offense considering what we did last year and then adding in Arian Foster.
