If you were in charge of the Texans what trades would you make?

Well if we're talking about unrealistic trades then I'd trade McKinney for Kevin Mawae straight up. Heck let the Jets throw in a few draft picks and Jonathan Vilma too. We want more speed and youth at LB, and Vilma fits that bill. Sounds like a fair deal to me

I'd trade
-McKinney to the Jets for Kevin Mawae, Jonathan Vilma, and the 26th overall pick -Jamie Sharper to the Cowboys for Roy Williams and both of their first rounders -Zach Weigert to the Steelers for Alan Faneca, Casey Hampton, and Aaron Smith -DD Ancholonu to the Chiefs for Willie Roaf, Priest Holmes, Tony Gonzalez, and Dante Hall -JJ Moses to the Eagles for TO To Hell with the salary cap ...

Sharper for Edge. The trade could help both teams a lot......just not their cap situations.

I'd trade 1/2 of my net worth + attorney fees for the next ex Mrs Meloy. It is not a prerequisite that she be a Texans Cheer Leader, but hey this is a fantasy. Right?

realistic trades.....
Marcus Coleman and #13 pick to Philly for Brian Dawkins. This is hard nothing really we can realisticly trade for and upgrade our position value wise considering we are building almost exclusively through the draft, Its hard to judge the values against proven NFL talent. most of our veterans are to old to really get anything good and our young players are all pretty much role players or they are franchise players we cant part ways with. |

The Rams are at 19. But I like this trade a lot. Sharper is now gone though, but still I like what you were after. We might could package a third to move back up. But I do like the Philly trade. I want more picks not fewer. I've seen some draft projections where we could pick up Luis Castillo at 31 and then get Baas at 35 and Matt Jones at 47. And that would be okay too. But I think each of those guys may be gone before that pick. |
